Movie Theme Song
If there is ever a movie made about me, I want the theme song to be “Hometown Glory” by Adele. This has been one of my favorite songs for a while and every time I hear it, I just want to continue to listen to it on repeat over and over again. I can’t decide why there would ever be a movie made about me, but it’s cool to imagine. A few reasons I can think of for why a movie might be made about me:
I save the world in some epic way (i.e. me jumping in front of a subway to save a child who fell on the tracks)
Someone finds my love life intriguing and wants to make a “notebook”-like movie about it (doubtful)
I turn into some incredible artist and someone wants to make an indy film about me
Realistically, none of the above will ever happen but it’s fun to pretend. My favorite verse is:
I like it in the city when the air is so thick and opaque
I love to see everybody in short skirts, shorts and shades
I like it in the city when two worlds collide
I imagine myself walking briskly down the streets of new york city during this part of the movie.
One can dream right?
